His journey in dentistry is rooted in a deep commitment to ongoing education, advanced clinical practice, and patient service. Dr. Johnson earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2012, where he later returned to complete his specialty training in Endodontics. Before specializing, he expanded his clinical expertise by completing two General Practice Residencies in New York, including a rigorous program at Montefiore Hospital. There, he focused on emergency care, surgical procedures, and implant restorations. He then worked in private practice as a general dentist, a background that gives him a comprehensive understanding of your broader oral health needs.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Johnson is a passionate educator and community leader. He has served as a volunteer instructor at USC’s Emergency Dental Clinic and currently sits on the board of the Friends of Dentistry at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. In this esteemed role, he helps advance dental education, mentor future practitioners, and support philanthropic initiatives that shape the future of dental care.
When he is not helping patients achieve optimal oral health, Dr. Johnson loves spending time with his wife—who is also a dentist—and their two children. He stays active with regular workouts and enjoys playing golf, exploring architectural design, traveling, and discovering new culinary experiences.
